Leia, The Director of First Impressions

Leia came to us as a private rescue from Waterloo with a litter of newborn kittens in tow. Although her young ones have gone to live happy & healthy lives elsewhere, she is now a de facto part of Coleman/Quiner – coming to work each day & going home each night. So you’ll likely see her wandering around the office when you’re here, most likely inspecting your arrival by sniffing shoes & fingers!

(Unless, of course, you’re allergic -- in which case, Leia gets to hang out in the conference room behind closed doors where she can rest, eat lunch, walk on the treadmill…. okay, maybe we’re kidding about the treadmill.)

Rememebring Blue

Many of you knew little boy Blue who passed away in October 2022 of kidney disease. He was a part of our lives, inside and outside the office, for many years & will always hold a special place in our hearts. We will never forget the kindness of the clients who sent cards & flowers & memorial donations when we lost him that fall. His memorial brick at the Animal Rescue League was installed in the main adoption entrance walkway.
